400Hz Static Frequency Converter SFC

Features:

PXe offers new standards in 400Hz generation, supporting the legacy Failsafe SFC units.  The new PXe-F series frequency converters are ultra compact, near silent in operation and very low maintenance. They have a large easy-to-read digital display panel which displays all AC parameters including voltage, current, frequency and power.  An extensive options list allows each converter to be customised to specific requirements.

PXe’s latest converter topology provides a robust, high quality 400Hz output, able to handle even the most non-linear and complex types of load. It is capable of working in continuous duty with a long service life and at very high efficiency levels. The new design benefits from extremely low levels of both acoustic and electrical noise.

The PXe-F series includes various models ranging from 1KVA to 50KVA. All share the same comprehensive digital display panel, but with PXe’s trade-mark simplicity of operation.

PXe-F models may be ordered with variable output voltage and/or frequency. This allows the User to replicate the real ‘in the air’ aircraft supply quality when testing equipment. Output voltage and frequency are both continuously variable via front panel dials.

An optional remote control panel is available allowing the converter to be monitored and controlled from up to 200m away. PXe-F converters may also be fitted with an RS485 data bus, permitting all the performance parameters of the converter to be observed remotely. And to complete these extensive remote monitoring facilities, PXe-Fs can also be ordered with volt-free contacts for all major status conditions.

• Remote control watchdog for larger models: For models typically over 50kVA, we can provide a watchdog system that provides real time information on faults via an SMS service, stores data history, enables remote operation and automatic restart availability.

• Trolleys and rubber wheels with swivel tow bar for ease of movement. A fully mobile GPU unit suitable for MRO sites, Airfields, Hangers and Military Bases where mobility is a key requirement
