The monitoring and recording of all major power quality events and parameters are facilitated by the PXe-PQA4000 Power Quality Analyser. Accurate measurement of events and disturbances affecting Power Quality and usage is provided, based on voltage and current measurement according to Class A specification.
Simultaneous measurement of consumption and demand, along with the capturing of harmful events and faults, are enabled by the PQA. It possesses the capability to store a high number of voltage events and disturbances, frequency variations, inrush current, etc.
Additional PQ data, including Flicker, Unbalance, Harmonics, and Inter-harmonics, as well as Mains Signalling, can be recorded. Furthermore, standard power measurement data for three-phase systems is provided. The availability of extra voltage and current measurement channels offers the possibility to monitor Neutral Potential and Earth Leakage current.
PXe-PQA4000 Power Quality Analyser Available in two models:
Two models of the PXe-PQA4000 Power Quality Analyser are available: one for external standard CT’s with 1 or 5A output and another model for current clamps, both conventional and flexible types. This ensures maximum flexibility, even for existing plants that require retrospective monitoring. The recording features of the device are powerful, allowing for the simultaneous capture and recording of all types of power measurement and PQ data. The high memory capacity enables the recording of this information for long time periods, facilitating a comprehensive EN 50160 analysis.
Waveform recording, together with RMS values, is provided for events and disturbances. The recordings can be transferred in various ways. Users have the option to download them directly through a web interface or set up automatic scheduled data uploads to a remote server. Another alternative is transferring the recordings to a USB flash drive. Different communication ports are incorporated into the PXe-PQA4000, enabling users to access it through multiple means. Ethernet ports on the front and rear panels allow for complete control of the instrument. Web access allows real-time monitoring, device setup, stored data transfer, and maintenance operations. Additionally, an RS485 port provides the ability to interconnect with monitoring systems such as a PLC.
Accurate time information, regardless of the installation location in a distributed monitoring system, is provided by the integrated GPS receiver. Furthermore, the instrument features various I/O channels to enhance its functionality. It is equipped with a high-resolution TFT display with a touch screen, facilitating fast and direct instrument management. The web server offers a user-friendly multilingual interface that proves useful for on-site instrument operations.
